If you couldn’t tell, I’ve been kind of obsessed with pineapple lately. I’ve found that it’s one of my favorite fruits to bake with, and one of my favorite ingredients to put in my favorite meals. From chicken teriyaki (recipe coming to the blog next week) to spiced pineapple honey bars, the sky’s the limit on what you can put pineapple in. I have found that I love pineapple paired with the spices you would find in your favorite fall desserts like pumpkin pie and sweet potato bread. My Favorite Toppings I could think of a million toppings I would love for this breakfast recipe. Crunchy chocolate granola, coconuts flakes and white chocolate chips are a few of the ingredients I have been obsessed with lately, but you can go above and beyond that. I love to place fruit on top of recipes like this one. Pineapple would be the obvious choice, but I also think blueberries would be just as delicious. Chia seeds are another ingredient I love for smoothie bowls, and you can’t go wrong with basically any type of nut. When it comes to picking your toppings, pick the ingredients that YOU love!
