I guess I should really call this recipe Homemade "Tater Tots" with Spicy Mayo because I have to say that these tots are one of a kind. How many of you think apples get the cold shoulder when fall rolls around? I mean pumpkin is the BIG thing, and apples just get shoved aside like they don't matter. I'm going to change this today because I love a good apple, and I love apple-flavored desserts even more. When I was figuring out what I was cooking/photographing/posting this week, this blistered heirloom tomato bruschetta with lemon ricotta was not on my list. I was thinking I'd bake all week.
