Yes, everything you've heard is true. Austin, TX is scrumptious. Who would have thunk it? I certainly wouldn't have. Never have I ever been to any part of Texas. Before we ventured out that way, my stereotypes were much like others who have never been to Texas. I imagined BBQ after BBQ after BBQ with a little grass-fed cow thrown into this mix. It has become a holiday tradition to seek out the latest release in the Bruery's 12 Days of Christmas series. It feels like it was just yesterday that I picked up a bottle of Partridge in a Pear Tree at a Bevmo in Pasadena, California. It is not that long ago that finding a pumpkin beer at the local beer mart was like finding fresh avocados in Antarctica. It just did not happen. However, in the last few years, pumpkin has basically become the next best thing to chocolate.
